Forgotten letters

Add the letters to the scrabble grid

Place the forgotten letters into the 5x5 grid in a valid bananagrams/scrabble formation while minimizing the number of needed swaps. A “swap” swaps two elements on the grid——2 letters or a letter and a space. Note that the swaps should be performed prior to the insertion of the forgotten letters.

Each puzzle comes with two terms:

  1. The maximum number of swaps needed in the optimal solution
  2. A list of forgotten letters Each puzzle may have multiple solutions, though just one is given.

Finally, all words involved in this puzzle are common——none of those obscure 2 letter scrabble words.
